Who we are….. 

As a school we believe we provide the highest levels of support for all young people at the school. Each student will have access to their Head of Year (HoY), the student support team and a range of ‘in school’ interventions should they need support.  

As a school we actively engage and encourage the support of wider external agencies. This will be different for every student, dependant on need.  

We know that for many young people social media is a platform which adds value to their lives, but if this stops being the case it can have very damaging impacts. Should you need help with an issue over social media please use the link below to report a post or message over most platforms. 

 

What we do….. 

Should you (as a pupil) or an adult (as a parent or carer) need any support whilst with us at Lode Heath School we will do all we can to support you. If in school, you can find the Student Support team in the office opposite the Key Stage 3 Boys toilets or if you are at home, you can use the link below;

We know that school can be both rewarding and challenging to all students. We know that there may be days where students need help. Thats where Student Support come in... We have a caring team of non teaching staff who are based in Student Support. They are available throughout the day and help students access the support they might need. Whether its a medical need, someone to talk to or help in signposting children to the support they might needed. Student support is there for them. 

Some of the things that Student Support can help with;

 

• If you're not feeling well

• If you need to speak with home

• If you have any questions which are not linked to lessons

• If you need to speak with some about a problem or you are unsure of who to ask
